Abstract

The twin-screw steam yacht Wolverine (length 81 feet over all, beam 12 feet, depth from top of keel 7 feet 6 inches, draught 5 feet 3 inches, tonnage, 50 tons, yacht measure) built by Messrs. Lewis and Stockwell, of London, for Major Brandram, fitted with two 8 and a half inch by 9 inch stroke two cylinder inverted vertical marine engines operating at 200 revolutions per minute on steam supplied by locomotive boiler fitted with brass tubes, and two three bladed propellers 4 feet 3 inches in diameter with a 5 foot 5 inch pitch, built by Messrs. J. Penn and Son of Greenwich.
