- Abstract
'The snug little tug F. B. Dalzell ran up to Willet's Point yesterday with the officers of the Sims-Edison Electric Torpedo Company and their guests, who were to witness a trial of the torpedo under the personal control of Mr. W. Scott Sims, the inventor and general manager. The trial was made for the benefit of a number of foreign officials who are in the city, and whose Governments are considering the project of adding the torpedo to their several systems of coast and harbour defence.'
