- Abstract
"The present invention relates to the war head and has particular reference to the means for exploding the explosive charge and the safety devices for guarding against premature explosion. One object of the present invention is to provide for more certainty exploding the charge when the torpedo strikes an oblique or glancing blow. Another object of the present invention is to provide more effective safety devices than those heretofore employed."
