- Abstract
"According to my invention I increase the power which could be developed from a given quantity of air at a given pressure under the former system and also overcome the fall of temperature, which formerly occurred upon expansion of the compressed air. These results I obtain by heating the air, preferably by the combustion of a liquid hydrocarbon in the compressed air reservoir before conducting it to the engine."
