"Russian investigators say that a high test peroxide (HTP) - fuelled Type 65 650 mm torpedo caused the explosion which sank the Project 949A Antyey-class (NATO name: Oscar II) nuclear-powered cruise missile submarine (SSGN) Kursk in August 2000 (Jane's Defence Weekly, 23 August 2000)."
