- Abstract
Torpedoes and their accessories were the main focus of a special display staged by the Royal Laboratory at the Royal Arsenal, Woolwich. Parts of the Royal Laboratory Whitehead torpedo were exhibited; however the means, which enabled the torpedo to travel a set distance underwater at a constant depth, were kept secret.
