- Abstract
The armoured torpedo ship Zieten (length 226 feet, beam 28 feet; draught 11 feet 8 inches) built by the Thames Iron Works and Shipbuilding Company was launched at Blackwall on the ninth of March 1876. Armament; two torpedo tubes and ten 15 inch Whitehead torpedoes.
