The Italian destroyer Dardo (length 196 feet 10 inches between perpendiculars, 203 feet 7 inches overall, beam 21 feet 4 inches, draught 8 feet six and a half inches; displacement 315 tons, 348 tons full load), built by Schichau, Elbing, was more or less identical to the four Chinese destroyers captured at Taku.
