Abstract

The twin-screw torpedo boat destroyer Lee built by Doxford and Sons, Sunderland, for the British Government, had arrived safely at Sheerness. The Lee was immediately prepared for her official speed and gunnery trials. Her machinery being required to produce 6,000 indicated horsepower, and a speed of 30 knots.
