Abstract

Two 6-inch by 12-inch by 8-inch stroke inverted-vertical double-acting compound surface-condensing marine engines with steam hammer framing, operating at 220 revolutions per minute with steam supplied at 80 pounds per square inch by a marine multitubular boiler. Built by T and J Hosking of Bermondsey from designs and specifications prepared in the department of the Inspector of Machinery, Royal Arsenal Woolwich for the War Department twin-screw tender Fusee.
