Abstract

A torpedo boat (length 166 feet, beam 19 feet; speed 20 knots) in which the vulnerable parts including the machinery were protected by 1 inch steel armour, and armed with six torpedo tubes; was built by Messrs. Yarrow and Co., Poplar, for the Imperial Japanese Government.
