- Abstract
A new type of large torpedo boat (length 125 feet; trial speed 20.9 knots), with rotating conning towers to which Whitehead torpedo tubes had been attached, was one of fifty first-class torpedo boats ordered by the Government fro Messrs. Thornycroft, Messrs. Yarrow and Messrs. White, of East Cowes, for the Royal Navy.
