- Abstract
The screw launch Eclipse built to the order of Mr David Lewis by Messrs. Yarrow and Hedley, Poplar, arrived in Hobart on the 25th of December 1871 aboard the barque Runnymede and commenced service between Hobart Town and Kangaroo Point soon after.
