- Abstract
Recent experiments with the Holland submarine torpedo boats had attracted a considerable amount of interest in naval circles. A speed of ten knots per hour could be made with the top awash. The boat was more difficult to manage when totally submerged, but a number of runs ranging from 250 yards to one mile had been made.
