People continue to face several challenges related to both online and telephone-banking channels - the growing threat of online and phone fraud, and increased regulatory requirements. Phising is not going away; it is still an effective and low-cost means to steal online banking credentials and other personal information. In addition, as the phone continues to be a key vehicle for financial institutions to interact with their customers, it must be assigned the same level of importance in terms of security as the online channel.
