Abstract

'At a recent meeting of members of the Royal United Service Institution Mr. F. Gower, the well-known inventor of a form of Bell telephone, lectured on a proposed new military weapon in the shape of aerial torpedoes which could be propelled through the air by balloon agencies and caused to explode dynamite or some equivalent material against an enemy's position.'
