Abstract

The seven new torpedo boats, built by the Weser Co., of Bremen, had received the armament at Wilhelmshaven. One of these, the Schulz, attained a speed of 17 to 18 knots in a very heavy sea, and was expected to make 20 in calm weather. Another, the Scherf, in a trip from Geestermunde to Wilhelmshaven, reached a maximum speed of 19 knots.
