"The Royal Malaysian Navy (RMN) has named the first of its two Scorpene submarines the Tunku Abdul Rahman in a ceremony at the Cherbourg Yard of shipbuilder DCNS. The Tunku Abdul Rahman is the RMN's first submarine and is designed to conduct anti-submarine, anti-surface, mine warfare, reconnaissance and Special Forces missions."
