- Abstract
"This invention is mainly designed to be applied to self-propelling controllable torpedo vessels, and I shall here describe accordingly, and as applied to a vessel of such description in which an electric current passed through an insulated wire cable is used as the controlling power; but the several parts, or certain of them, may be made to perform their various functions in vessels not employing electricity as the controlling-power."
