Torpedo boat (length137 feet, beam 13 feet 9 inches; depth 9 feet 3 inches) fitted with an inverted-vertical triple-expansion engine operating on steam supplied by a liquid petroleum fired locomotive boiler, built by Messrs. William Doxford and Sons, of Pallion Yard, Sunderland.
