According to the Bourse Gazette the torpedo catcher Some (length 213 feet at the waterline, beam 21 feet 6 inches; draught 9 feet 7 inches) being built by Laird Brothers, Birkenhead, for the Russian Government was to join the Baltic squadron in the summer of 1900.
