Abstract

Two new torpedo boats, the Varg and the Raket (length 113 feet, beam 12 feet 2 inches; displacement 43 tons) built for the Norwegian Navy were launched at Christiania. They were fitted with triple-expansion engines, operating with steam supplied in one vessel by Thornycroft boilers made in Norway and the other by Du Temple boilers built in France.
