H.M.S. Havock (length 185 feet, beam 18 feet 6 inches, draught 7 feet 3 inches; displacement 275 tons) built by Messrs. Yarrow and Co. of Poplar for the British Government in 1894, was the first torpedo boat destroyer to arrive at Portsmouth.
