Abstract

Ten 15 indicated horsepower three and three quarter inch by seven and a half inch by five inch stroke inverted-vertical double-acting surface-condensing marine engines operating with steam supplied at 130 pounds per square inch by Admiralty pinnace boilers with closed ash pits and forced draught, were built by Plenty and Sons of Newbury, for use in the 25 foot Navy pinnaces used by the British Admiralty.
