Abstract

The torpedo boat catcher Greiff (length 336 feet 10 inches overall, 326 feet 8 inches on the waterline, beam 30 feet, draught 14 feet 3 inches, displacement 2330 tons; trial speed 23 knots) built by Germaniawerft of Kiel for the German Government, was fitted with 5,795 indicated horsepower horizontal compound marine engines and armed with two 105 mm guns and ten 37 mm revolving machine guns.
