Abstract

A detailed set of drawings of the engine and fan used to force air into the stokehold of the torpedo boat built at St. Petersburg for the Russian Government. The engine five and a half inches by three inches was carefully balanced, had enormous bearings and operated at speeds between 1,200 and 1,300 revolutions per minute.
