Four torpedo boats built by Yarrow and Co., Poplar, arrived safely in Rio de Janeiro having encountered heavy seas during part of their voyage. These boats and four others built by Yarrow and Co. for the Argentinean Government were the only vessels of their type to have made such long voyages.
